Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist with a passion for pets and their people. Having an understanding for the importance of client care and compassion in the veterinary field. Seeking an enthusiastic employee who can multitask in a busy work environment.

Training provided. Shifts include evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

-Greeting and welcoming clients and their patients with sincerity

-Answering busy telephone calls and returning e-mails.

-Scheduling appointments

-Informing the veterinarian on call of any emergencies that require urgent attention.

-Issuing invoices for treatment and prescribed medication

-Take requests for medication refills and appropriately relay such requests

-Filing patient records and creating new patient accounts
