Job Description

Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR)

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Dietetic Technician, (DTR) to join our ever-growing team.

Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) Job Summary:

Must have 1 year of healthcare experience, nursing home experience a plus.
Must be able to work well with the interdisciplinary team, exhibit strong communication skills, as well as work independently on daily tasks
Must be able to complete nutrition assessments and provide diet education
Must be able to attend care plans of assigned residents with clinically complex diagnosis, as well as other meetings and rounds for the facility.
Ensure resident's plan of care is in place and carried out in its entirety.
Assist with discharge planning.
Must be proficient in EMR, knowledge of point click care a plus.
Knowledge of MealTracker is a plus.
Must be able to type & use computer programs proficiently (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc).
