Pediatric Registered Dietitian (RD) – In Person
Full-Time / Part-Time
We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Dietitian (RD) for a skilled nursing facility serving residents from 4 months old through adulthood. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities:
Nutrition assessments and care planning
Monitor growth, intake, and tolerance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance

Responsibilities as a Registered Dietician:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality nutritional care to all residents. Other responsibilities include:
New and re-admission assessments as assigned; quarterlies, annuals, and significant change assessments; monitoring and documenting weights and weight loss, pressure ulcers and wound documentation; monitoring Hemodialysis residents; monitoring residents on enteral feeding
Completion of MDS
Updating care plans and attending care plan meetings
Updating meal/snack preferences, entering diets, and assisting with menu review with residents as needed
Conducting meal rounds and audits as assigned
Providing nutrition education and counseling to residents and families
Attending morning report as needed
Strong verbal and written communication skills – ongoing communication with the MD, NPs, nursing, and interdisciplinary team
Perform related duties as required
Requirements for a Registered Dietician:
Must have an active Registered Dietician license in the state of NJ
Pediatric experience preferred
Knowledge of EMR Point Click Care a plus
Knowledge of Meal Tracker a plus
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions
Must be knowledgeable of departmental practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nutritional services in a long-term care facility
