Argenta is currently looking to fill the role ofVeterinarian at our Oakland, NElocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• SupportHead of ResearchServices with mentoring of new and/or existingInvestigators and Animal Care Technicians

• Oversee daily workload forAnimal Care Technicians on assigned projects.
• Coordinatesand conductsGCP and study protocol training at study sites and assures training is documented
• Establishes rapport with study site staff to assure compliance with the protocol, applicable regulatory and guidance documents,SOPs,and all study activities
• Providestracking and Quality Control (QC) of data as required and assists with responses to QA audits
• Mastery ofGood Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Monitors and maintains the health and well-being ofon-siteanimalsin compliance with animal use guidelines.
• Mastery of USDA guidelines and IACUC protocols in relation to animal care
• AdvisesMVSmanagement regarding IVP/CVP and study materials management

About You:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from accredited university program

• CurrentVeterinary licensein good standing

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a scientific discipline and/or veterinaryexperience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with EDC systems (Electronic Data Capture) is a plus
• Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP),data management, quality control and/or quality assurance is preferred
• Must possess a valid drivers license and proper travel documentation i.e., passport, and have the ability to travel
• A collaborative working style to be able to lead and motivate people at all levels and across all functions in an organization
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think outside of the box and develop flexible approaches to resolve complex issues
