Highland Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Queens, NY! Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized speech-language treatment plans for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy services in accordance with an established plan of care.

  • Assess and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and home recommendations.

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
