Job Title: MRI Technologist

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. The MRI Technologist will operate MRI equipment, prepare patients for imaging procedures, administer contrast media when appropriate, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain compliance with imaging protocols and regulatory standards.

### Requirements:

* Certificate or diploma from an accredited MRI program or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
* Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
* ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
* State Radiologic Technologist license (where applicable)
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
* Venipuncture certification required or preferred based on state regulations
* Fluoroscopy license preferred where applicable
* Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices, anatomy, and imaging protocols
* Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills

### Key Responsibilities:

* Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
* Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
* Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Administer and monitor contrast media in accordance with facility policies and safety guidelines
* Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
* Review and verify image quality before submission for physician interpretation
* Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical record system
* Follow MRI safety standards, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements
* Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and provide clear pre- and post-examination instructions
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned
