Midlevel/Senior Associate Attorney Life Sciences Transactions

Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a midlevel to senior Associate (3–5 years) to join its sophisticated Corporate & Business Transactions – Life Sciences practice.

Locations: Philadelphia | Princeton | San Francisco | Silicon Valley

This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with life sciences transactional experience to work with innovative biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies on complex strategic and commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of life sciences agreements, including:
  • Collaboration agreements
  • Licensing agreements
  • Supply and manufacturing agreements
  • Product purchase and sale agreements
• Handle operational and commercial agreements, including:
  • CDA/NDAs
  • MTAs
  • SRAs
  • CTAs
  • MSAs
• Advise life sciences clients on strategic transactional and commercial matters across all stages of growth and development
• Collaborate closely with business, regulatory, and IP teams on sophisticated industry-focused transactions

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of law firm experience handling life sciences transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience with commercial and operational agreements
• Prior in-house experience with a life sciences company strongly considered
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Strong interest in focusing on life sciences transactions required

Compensation

Expected salary range in applicable markets: $225,000 – $435,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
