Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) to work closely with our nursing and clinical staff to deliver exceptional respiratory care to our residents. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve optimal breathing function, recovery, and comfort in a caring and resident-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory assessments and provide individualized therapy in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management as needed.
• Document respiratory interventions, progress notes, and equipment use accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' respiratory status and coordinate care with nurses and physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and health practices.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT) in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (CPR); ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, sub-acute, or hospital respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome!).
• Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented with a focus on quality care.
