Job Summary:

Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RT (Respiratory Therapist) to join our brand-new Vent Unit. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is interested in working in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and related equipment

• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications as prescribed

• Monitor patient response and vital signs

• Assist with breathing exercises and recovery plans

• Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently

• Document therapy and patient progress in charts

• Collaborate with physicians and care team members

• Train staff and contribute to best practices in respiratory care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program

• Active State of Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License

• Experience in vent care or long-term care preferred

• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
