Part-Time Optometrist | Outpatient Clinic Setting

Schedule: Fort Myers (Every Other Week; Potential to Increase to 3×/Month) Port Charlotte (1×/Month) Naples (1×/Month)

Compensation: $950 per visit

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part‑Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care across three established outpatient clinic locations in Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, and Naples, FL.

This role is ideal for an OD who values flexibility, predictable scheduling, and meaningful clinical work—without the administrative burden of running a practice or the pace of retail settings. You'll serve senior populations in a structured, team‑based environment where quality of care comes first.

You'll practice within a coordinated, community‑based outpatient clinic model:

• Clinic staff on‑site full time

• Organized scheduling and patient flow

• Collaborative, team‑based care environment

• Value‑based model focused on seniors

CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics—allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high‑quality vision care.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments

• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions

• Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans

• Partner with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

• Deliver patient‑centered care in a structured outpatient setting

This is not a high‑volume retail model. Our optometrists are embedded within established clinics and represent CMC directly at each partner location.

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program

• Active Florida optometry license

• Fort Myers: Every other week, with potential to increase to 3×/month

• Port Charlotte: 1×/month

• Naples: 1×/month

• Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• No nights

• No weekends

• No billing or administrative responsibilities
