Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for The Family Counseling Center in Gloversville, New York.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Provide outpatient behavioral health counseling for children, adolescents, and adults ages 5 and older.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Complete behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing care coordination.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
• Utilize the organization's electronic health record to document patient care accurately.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York.
• Ability to provide individual, family, and group counseling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Experience documenting within an electronic health record.
• Ability to respond appropriately during behavioral health crises.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered behavioral health care.
