Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for The Family Counseling Center in Gloversville, New York.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Provide outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health or substance use disorders.
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing care coordination.
• Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, case managers, and interdisciplinary providers to deliver comprehensive behavioral healthcare.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation utilizing the electronic health record.
• Support a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented model of care focused on improving long-term patient outcomes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive salary from $70,000-$80,000.

SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or four 10-hour shifts.
• Hybrid work schedule available.
• One evening per week until 7:00 PM.
• Full clinical and administrative support staff.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license in New York.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience providing behavioral health counseling services.
• Ability to work with patients ages 5 and older.
• Comfortable providing individual, family, and group counseling.
• Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Electronic health record experience.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.
