Logoplaste is currently seeking to hire an AGV- Maintenance Technician, to join the plant team in Inwood, WV(USA).
Reporting to: Systems Delivery Manager
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing mechanical reliability for the plant. Supports the Plant Manager with all aspects of mechanical maintenance.
SUMMARY
The AGV Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the deliveries and warehouse system functionality for the plant by maintaining, monitoring, and repairing delivery system equipment. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to; clearing faults, assessing system impacts, and maintaining effective maintenance records.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, repair, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on AGVs.
- Conduct preventative and routine maintenance to include such tasks as sensor calibrations, lubrication, calibrate sensors, lubrication of wear parts, electronic cleanings, etcetera.
- Replace components of mechanical and electrical nature within AGVs and warehouse equipment.
- Validate system parameters against expected conditions and modify system data as needed to maintain proper function.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all delivery system equipment.
- Identify, trouble shoot, and report inefficiencies, continuous improvement opportunities, or system performance.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintaining good housekeeping, GMP practices and Global Food Safety practices.
- Other tasks assigned by Delivery Systems Manager.
COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum High School Diploma (or GED/High School Certification)
- Good communication skills including verbal, written, and electronic
- Ability to clearly communicate technical system issues
- Ability to quickly learn computer systems used to monitor equipment
- Able to work independently, identify problems, and support improvements
- Ability to work in a high pressure fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands
- Ability to drive a forklift and achieve certification
- Capability to climb and work at heights comfortably
- Technical background with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic and electrical test equipment (e.g., 5V to 480V circuits)
- Strong ability to identify and solve complex technical issues
- High attention to detail for accurate repairs and thorough documentation
- Fitness to safely and efficiently move in and around equipment that may require extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, or crawling
