$4,300 Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available.  

This position is scheduled to work nights and will be eligible for a night shift differential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certification: ASCP, NCA, AMT, or equivalent national certification required.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of lab testing protocols, specimen handling, and quality control procedures.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and following procedures.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and assist with supervisory tasks as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE for MT :

Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical biological or clinical laboratory science or meet other provisions defined in CLIA 42CFT 493. Two years’ experience preferred but not required.

Your Role:

As an essential part of our laboratory team, you will:

  • Conduct patient testing across all laboratory departments, adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control measures for lab instruments.
  • Handle and process specimens with precision, ensuring compliance with testing and safety standards.
  • Accurately document, review, and report patient test results, including critical values.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting test performance or escalate as necessary.
  • Assist with supervisory duties under the guidance of the laboratory supervisor.

Specimen Collection & Clerical Duties:

  • Collect and prepare specimens following prescribed guidelines, ensuring patient comfort and understanding.
  • Accession, label, and distribute specimens to appropriate lab departments.
  • Manage billing forms, lab requisitions, and patient records with accuracy.
  • Use computer systems for data input, storage, and retrieval.
