CNC Machinist Opportunities – Vertical Mill, Vertical Lathe & Horizontal CNC (Houston, TX – Day & Night Shifts)
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for multiple openings in Houston, TX across vertical milling, vertical turning (lathe), and horizontal CNC machining operations. These roles include both day and night shift opportunities depending on the position.
Candidates must be proficient in operating, setting up, and making G-code edits/program adjustments on CNC equipment. Strong blueprint reading, machining knowledge, and precision measurement skills are required.
Available Positions:
Vertical CNC Mill Machinist – Day & Night Shifts
Vertical CNC Lathe / Turning Operator – Day & Night Shifts
Horizontal CNC Machinist – Night Shift
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and horizontal machining centers
Read, interpret, and edit G-code programs as required (G-code experience is mandatory)
Perform machine setups including tooling, offsets, and workholding
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
Monitor machining processes to maintain quality and production standards
Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup adjustments
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Required Qualifications:
Strong CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with vertical mills, vertical lathes, or horizontal CNC machines
Must be proficient in G-code programming, editing, and troubleshooting
Ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements
Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining practices
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
