Industrial Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure reliable operations and minimize downtime. This role supports a safe and efficient work environment within an industrial pipe manufacturing and distribution facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and prevent unexpected downtime.
- Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, and installations as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service documentation, and repair reports.
- Work closely with operations teams to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance technician experience.
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial equipment repair.
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Night shift availability required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, pipe, steel, fabrication, or industrial distribution environments.
- Familiarity with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
