Career Strategies is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-maintained apartment community in Jeffersonville, IN. If you have apartment maintenance experience, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in keeping communities looking their best, we'd love to hear from you!
Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule while working with a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Respond to and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Perform general carpentry, painting, drywall, and miscellaneous maintenance
- Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Maintain clean, safe, and attractive grounds and common areas
- Assist with snow removal during the winter months as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred (certification not required)
- Must have your own basic maintenance tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
