Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on sourcing, category management, and supplier management.
Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
Manage procurement activities using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms to streamline purchasing processes and ensure data accuracy.
Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery, including purchase order creation, tracking, and materials management.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve supply chain disruptions, improve sourcing strategies, and enhance overall procurement efficiency.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production planning teams to align procurement schedules with production needs and logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and other relevant policies governing government or large-scale procurement activities.
Skills
Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement management and supply chain operations.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in contract negotiation and contract management.
Deep understanding of procurement processes including sourcing, category management, and materials management.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics, production planning, and quality management practices.
Ability to perform root cause analysis related to supply chain issues and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) if applicable to government contracts or large-scale procurements.
