Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift- 11am-7pm

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift to join their dynamic team.  As a Machine Operator / Stacker you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the packaging and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift- 11am-7pm

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.50/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm (plus additional hours until production is complete)
 

What's the Job?

• Operate and support packaging lines including dry mix, pouches, pails, and cans, ensuring safe and correct operation.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards, including SQF regulations and GMP practices.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness and conduct pre-operational checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately scan packaging materials and finished products into the BatchMaster system, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Set up and configure equipment based on production schedules, ensuring correct packaging materials and codes are used throughout the process.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and documentation accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to complete production.
