Job Description
We are seeking experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced distribution and warehouse operation in Cary, NC. This role is ideal for safety-focused operators who thrive in a structured environment and enjoy working with modern material handling equipment, including Yale stand-up reach forklifts and platform lifts. The Stand-Up Forklift Operator plays a critical role in supporting inventory accuracy, product flow, and overall warehouse efficiency within a high-volume operation.
- Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (Days: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM / Nights: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM)
- Pay: $19.00 per hour + overtime as offered

Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up reach forklifts, primarily Yale equipment
- Move, stage, and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Load and unload trailers using powered industrial equipment
- Operate platform lifts and assist with elevated material handling tasks
- Pick, pull, and replenish inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks
- Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and documentation
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, traffic patterns, and operating protocols
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Prior experience operating stand-up reach forklifts required
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Experience with Yale, Crown, Raymond, or similar forklift equipment preferred
- Ability to safely navigate tight warehouse aisles and elevated storage locations
- Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse inventory systems preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational accuracy
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including weekends
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a fast-paced environment
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 75 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.00 - $19.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
