Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in West Chester is looking for a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) - apply today!


DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports store operations by leading shift activities, assisting customers, and helping maintain store organization. The role ensures that shoppers receive quality service and that team members have the guidance they need. As a Sales Team Lead, (Liquor Store Clerk 2), you will perform the following duties:

  • Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during the shift and ensure store procedures are followed
  • Customer Service: Assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them locate products
  • Sales Processing: Manage sales using a computerized register and handle customer transactions
  • Stocking Tasks: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build product displays
  • Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment for customers
  • Staff Training: Provide on the job guidance to clerks and support their understanding of store policies

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Six months of retail sales work.


Other Requirements:

  • You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
