Instructional Aide in Bedford, NH

Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful opportunity supporting the educational development of middle school students as a Paraprofessional. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a real difference, working alongside dedicated educators in a collaborative school environment near Bedford, NH. You’ll help create an inclusive learning atmosphere while assisting with both academic and behavioral support, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of your caseload.

Schedule: 7:15am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or similar role supporting students in a school setting
• Ability to build rapport with middle school students and foster a positive learning environment
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Flexibility to assist with a variety of classroom tasks and adapt to changes in caseload
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student success
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support for teachers and students, assisting with lesson activities and individual learning needs
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Assist with tracking student progress and maintaining documentation as directed
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student plans, accommodations, and caseload details
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school community
• Communicate effectively with educators and contribute to a positive school culture
