This role involves accurately picking and packing food products in a cold storage facility while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will work overnight using RF scanners, handling heavy items, and staying on your feet for the entire shift in extremely cold temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Pick food products accurately from designated locations using RF scanner equipment.
- Pack products securely and efficiently to meet quality and safety standards.
- Verify product information, quantities, and labels to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate RF scanner guns to track inventory movement and update system records in real time.
- Handle heavy lifting as required to move, stack, and organize products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the cold storage facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures specific to working in extremely cold temperatures.
- Work on your feet for the entirety of the shift and maintain productivity throughout the night.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Essential Skills
- Experience with picking and packing in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Proficiency using RF scanner guns for inventory and order processing.
- Ability to work in a cold storage facility and remain effective in extremely cold temperatures.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and repeatedly during the shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of a night shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with handling food products in a distribution or logistics setting.
- Comfort working night shifts from Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Work Environment
You will work in a cold storage warehouse environment with extremely low temperatures throughout the shift. You will regularly use RF scanner guns and handle packaged food products. Appropriate cold-weather attire and protective gear are essential to stay comfortable and safe in this setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
