Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials and parts while monitoring machine performance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and measuring devices to complete production tasks
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and production specifications
- Maintain production goals while performing repetitive manufacturing tasks
- Rotate between workstations to support operational needs and cross-training initiatives
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production issues, and safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Minimum of 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and tape measures
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety guidelines
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Training Schedule: Initial training will be completed on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) for approximately 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on experience and production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.05 - $21.55/hr.
