Instructional Aide - Buzzards Bay, MA

• Capability to follow written and verbal instructions, and provide one-on-one or small group support as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
• Support students with academic tasks, behavior redirection, and daily classroom routines
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher direction
• Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and playgrounds
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom climate
• Prepare materials, set up learning activities, and maintain classroom organization
• Foster independence, encourage student participation, and model positive behaviors
