Instructional Aide - Dover, NH

Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple positions are currently available, with hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, focusing on one-on-one interaction with students who benefit from additional guidance and encouragement throughout their school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is highly preferred
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working with elementary-age children, particularly in 1:1 settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and administration
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in responding to the dynamic environment of elementary education
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to assigned students, assisting with classroom activities, assignments, and personal development
• Work closely with teachers to implement and monitor individualized education plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring each student feels supported and motivated
• Assist with classroom management and preparation of instructional materials
• Support students during transitions, meals, and other non-classroom activities as needed
