We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, focusing on the manufacturing and assembly of perforating guns used to perforate oil and gas wells in preparation for production.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Manufacture and assemble perforating guns for oil and gas wells.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to complete machining tasks.
- Utilize manual and CNC mills and lathes, including Fanuc and Haas, for machining operations.
- Perform programming and setup of CNC machines, including G & L and 5-axis systems.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Proficiency in CNC machining with at least 1 year of experience or completion of relevant education/training.
- Skilled in using manual lathes, mills, and CNC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with programming and operating Fanuc and Haas machines.
- Knowledge of G & L, 5-axis, and job-shop machining.
- Experience with manual machining techniques.
- Familiarity with setup and operation of various CNC equipment.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Enjoy a $2 shift differential from day one and the opportunity for overtime as desired.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
