Job Title: Inventory Counter
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Counter to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of physical inventory across various locations within the facility. The ideal candidate will be adept at using inventory management systems and capable of operating a reach truck daily.
Responsibilities
- Spend 80% of time on foot, walking to various areas of the facility to locate and count physical inventory.
- Utilize a Reach Truck for 10% of the time to locate and count inventory items.
- Work at a desk for 10% of the time, printing inventory sheets and documenting findings.
- Receive a list of part numbers, print sheets showing locations, and identify any physical inventory discrepancies.
- Use laptops to work with company systems, Excel, and Cat Databases.
- Communicate findings via email and messenger daily.
- Send daily reports on tracked and counted inventory to the manager.
- Physically count part numbers on the floor and within the facility.
- Report discrepancies between physical inventory and system records to another team for adjustment.
- Perform special projects and other tasks as needed within the inventory team.
Essential Skills
- Experience with forklifts and Reach Trucks.
- Proficiency in inventory counting and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Attention to detail in inventory control and order entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Audit and quality experience is beneficial.
- Comfortable working on a manufacturing floor for 95% of the time.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in retail industry or retail customer service is a plus.

Work Environment
The position is primarily based on the manufacturing floor, requiring comfort with operating equipment and engaging in physical activities. The standard hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with some overtime and special projects occurring on weekends or extending to 10-hour days. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
