• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, especially within school settings
• Comfortable supporting students exhibiting aggressive behaviors with empathy and professionalism
• Able to start promptly on Monday, 4/13
• Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group assistance to K-12 students within the classroom and throughout the school day
• Implement individualized strategies to support students’ academic goals and behavioral needs
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to foster a supportive, engaging learning atmosphere
• Use positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies when addressing challenging behaviors
• Accurately document student progress and share relevant observations with educational teams
• Help maintain a safe and structured classroom environment
