Desired Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting
• RBT certification required or in progress
• Background working with preschool or early childhood-aged children is highly desired
• Knowledge or experience supporting students with unique needs, including those on the autism spectrum
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support and guidance to a preschool student, following individualized education and behavior plans
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement behavioral interventions and supports
• Assist with classroom activities and transitions to optimize the learning experience for the student
• Monitor and document progress, communicating updates with the educational team and, when necessary, with caregivers
• Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
