Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in supporting daily operations within a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment. This position focuses on safely handling materials, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, wrapping and labeling pallets, and preparing orders for shipping. You will contribute to efficient inventory flow by unloading, loading, and putting away goods while assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties, including material handling, loading, unloading, and moving products throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to transport materials, pallets, and goods within the warehouse.
- Wrap and label pallets accurately and prepare them to be staged for shipping according to established procedures.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including unloading incoming materials and loading outbound shipments.
- Put away goods in designated locations to maintain organized and efficient inventory storage.
- Unload carts from multiple areas and ensure materials are directed to the correct staging or storage locations.
- Assist with order picking and packaging to fulfill customer and internal orders on time.
- Handle production-related tasks and general labor duties to support overall warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory handling while moving, loading, and unloading materials.
- Collaborate with team members and assist others with their duties as required to meet operational goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while using equipment and performing warehouse tasks.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of hands-on warehouse experience.
- Warehouse experience with 3+ years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing site.
- Proven forklift operating experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Experience wrapping and labeling pallets and preparing them for shipping.
- Demonstrated ability to perform general warehouse duties, including material handling and production support.
- Experience with loading and unloading materials, including working with carts from multiple areas.
- Ability to use pallet jacks to move and position pallets safely.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and procedures.
- Experience with order picking and packaging tasks.
- Ability to handle inventory-related activities while moving, loading, and unloading materials.
- Capability to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in both distribution and manufacturing environments.
- Comfort working with a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail when labeling, wrapping, and staging pallets for shipment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and assist teammates with their duties as needed.
- Reliability in following established warehouse processes and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking materials.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse setting within a distribution or manufacturing site, involving regular use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. The position is on second shift, working Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with overtime available after the scheduled shift. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, requiring comfort with physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
