Description

\n As a Med Surg RN, you will provide exceptional care to patients in a telemetry setting. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans. This role requires strong IV skills and the ability to work with cardiac drips and EKG readings. You will be expected to float to Medical Surgical units as needed, and every other weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory.

Requirements\n

• NIH Stroke Certification required before start
\n
• New York State (NYS) nursing license
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\n
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
\n
• Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg experience
\n
• Additional 8 hours of CEUs as part of facility orientation
\n
