\nThe Salisbury VA Medical Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Staff Physician (Allergy) to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled clinician who is passionate about allergy and immunology clinics and providing care to a diverse veteran population with complex allergic and immunologic conditions, all within an interdisciplinary environment.

\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 08:00AM-4:30PM
\nAcademic Affiliation: SBY VAMC has affiliations with Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Baptist Medical Center and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech University.
\nPay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by V.A.
\n Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement
Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting
EDRP Authorized: Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment)

Requirements
\nU.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
\nEducation: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
\nLicensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
\nResidency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
\nBoard Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
