Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients, including monitoring mothers and neonates during pre- and post-delivery.
\n
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during delivery procedures.
\n
• Support the PM shift with strong caregiving and precepting skills, particularly over weekends.
\n
• Float between labor and delivery and mother-baby units as needed, based on staffing requirements.
\n
• Utilize Epic charting system to document patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
\n
• Conduct initial newborn assessments and provide neonatal resuscitation when required.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Must have a current CA RN license with at least 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
\n
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP; AWHONN Advanced or C-EFM preferred.
\n
• Experience with both high-risk deliveries and standard labor and delivery procedures required.
\n
• Proven ability to float between units, particularly to mother-baby units.
\n
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Experience using the Epic charting system and familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring.
\n
