American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Eureka, CA, requiring ARRT(R) certification and Epic proficiency.

  • 150-bed acute care hospital setting
  • \n
  • X-Ray department
  • \n
  • Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • \n
  • On-call is required
  • \n
  • Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR required
  • \n
  • Local candidates are accepted
  • \n
  • Free parking provided on the first day; assignment parking details provided during orientation
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray experience required
  • \n
  • Active ARRT(R) certification required
  • \n
  • Active CA state license required; license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Current BLS and Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
  • Pending CA license will not be accepted
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • \n
  • Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
  • \n
  • Block scheduling is available at manager's discretion
  • \n
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal RTO is preferred
  • \n
  • Black scrubs are required for Radiology staff
  • \n
