Senior Maintenance Manager

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager due to a recently announced retirement. Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Maintenance will lead the Maintenance and Reliability function of a 600+ employee manufacturing plant responsible for leading a department of 50 employees with (8) direct reports (Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, etc..).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Maintenance Manager will be reporting to the GM and will be responsible for leading a department of 50 employees (8 direct reports)
\n
• Complete ownership of the Maintenance and Reliability dept inclusive of Skilled Trade professionals (Electricians, Multi-Craft Technicians, Machine Repair Technicians, etc...
\n
• Responsible for the training and development of staff
\n
• Responsible for complete AM/PM schedule of all plant capital equipment
\n
• Manage all external service providers and relationships with contractors
\n
• Management activities inclusive of equipment installations
\n
• Work cross functionally with different internal departments
\n

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

\n
• Degree is preferred for consideration
\n
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant Engineering or Maintenance Leadership experience
\n
• Experience developing PM programs
\n
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
\n
