American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with LTC or SNF experience for a 13-week contract in a Long Term Care setting in Mound City, MO.
Details\n- \n
- Long Term Care (LTC) setting \n
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements \n
- Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation \n
- 35 hours per week \n
- \n
- Active Missouri OT license required; compact license accepted — license required if applicable \n
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required \n
- Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required \n
- 1 professional reference required for consideration \n
- \n
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care \n
- Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices \n
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions \n
- Monitor and document patient progress, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in the electronic documentation system \n
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers \n
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings \n
- Supervise and support OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed \n
- Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA standards and state practice acts throughout professional practice \n
- No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested \n
