American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and active Ohio or Compact licensure for a 13-week night shift assignment.

- Adult Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital setting \n
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active OH or Compact RN license, currently in hand \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS \n
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) \n
- Ability to perform heavy-duty physical work, including exerting 50–100 lbs of force occasionally and frequent patient handling \n
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required \n
- \n
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care using the nursing process \n
- Administers medications and performs treatments, implements physician orders, and documents nursing care thoroughly and accurately \n
- Responsible for directing and delegating tasks to nursing assistants (NAs) as appropriate \n
- Must be able to manage urgent and high-stress situations calmly and communicate empathically with patients and families \n
