Education
\n- \n
- High School Equivalent / GED (Required) \n
- Associate's Degree or progress towards degree (Preferred) \n
- Medical Terminology (Preferred) \n
Work Experience
\n- \n
- 1+ years Customer Service (Required) \n
- 1+ years Customer Service in healthcare (Preferred) \n
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
\n- \n
- Exceptional communication skills with both patients and medical care providers to relay necessary information (Required proficiency) \n
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities and handle interruptions (Required proficiency) \n
- Strong organizational skills (Required proficiency) \n
- Problem-solving skills for scheduling conflicts, missing documentation and other issues (Required proficiency) \n
- Attention to detail to ensure all patient information is accurate and available (Required proficiency) \n
- Compassion to help patients and caregivers in difficult situations (Required proficiency) \n
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality (Required proficiency) \n
- Basic knowledge of electronic health records and basic medical terminology (Preferred proficiency) \n
