Staff Registered Nurse
Job Description\nThe Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care using the nursing process. This position involves taking responsibility for directing co-workers and delegating tasks appropriately in the implementation of patient care. The role will be performed in accordance with established FMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process. \n
- Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care. \n
- Educate patients and families/significant others from admission through the discharge process. \n
- Document the nursing process/pathway accurately, thoroughly, and legibly. \n
- Notify physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status. \n
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely. \n
- Implement physician orders as written. \n
- Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care and report any malfunctions. \n

- Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. \n
- Valid RN license to practice in the State of Ohio. \n
- CPR certification required. \n
- Previous registered nursing experience preferred. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities. \n
This position is scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
