Requirements:
\n- \n
- Board Certified in General Surgery \n
- Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care \n
- ACS or SCC Fellowship completion required \n
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) \n
- DEA license \n
- ACLS/BLS certified \n
Duties & Responsibilities
\nA typical day may include:
\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery \n
- Participate in the care of trauma patients across the full continuum, from initial resuscitation through rehabilitation \n
- Serve as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows \n
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities \n
- Participate in administrative and leadership responsibilities, including support of ongoing trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives \n
- Collaborate on a multidisciplinary trauma program focused on quality, safety, and education \n
- Documenting in Epic EMR \n
