Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in an outpatient and inpatient rehab setting, requiring at least 6 months of recent PT experience.

• Physical Therapy department within an acute care hospital setting, located in Decatur, TX
\n
• May float between Inpatient Rehab, Acute, and Outpatient Rehab areas
\n
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
\n
• Outpatient clinic hours are flexible; clinic is open M–F, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
\n
• Small team of 3 full-time PTs, 1 PTA, and 3 PRN PTs
\n
• Equipment used includes Hoyer Lift, Treadmill, Elliptical, and SCI Fit
\n
• EMR systems used: Meditech Magic and ReDoc/NetHealth
\n
• No on-call requirement
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
\n
• Minimum 6 months of PT experience within the last 6 months
\n
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
\n
• Neurological patient experience preferred
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively with ST, OT, and physicians
\n
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
\n
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
\n

Additional Information\n

• Primary responsibilities include physical therapy evaluation and treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
\n
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
