Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a first-time traveler eligible RN for an Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital in Chewelah, WA, requiring Epic experience and rotating night shifts.

  • Critical access hospital emergency department setting with 23 total staff beds
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • \n
  • Rotating weekends required
  • \n
  • Patient ratio of 1:3–4
  • \n
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • \n
  • No on-call required
  • \n
  • No floating within the unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
  • \n
  • No block schedules
  • \n
  • No parking fee
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
  • Current certifications must be valid and on file
  • \n

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

  • Any scrub color is acceptable
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • \n
  • Prior work history at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates worked
  • \n
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • \n
  • Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
  • \n
