Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Elizabethtown, NC

At Alight Behavioral Therapy NC, we provide personalized, in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations, all designed to help children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a critical role in our team's mission to empower children and families affected by autism.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Elizabethtown, NC. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help them develop critical skills and reach their full potential. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Work closely with children and families to develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship

  • Collect and record data on child behavior and progress, as part of ongoing program evaluation and improvement

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBA, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to strict confidentiality and HIPAA standards

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, to stay current with best practices in ABA and autism support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, human services)

  • Completion of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism, preferably in an ABA therapy setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals

  • Ability to travel to client homes and work in a flexible, dynamic environment
