Contract Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Omaha, NE

A respected healthcare facility in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment. This role is ideal for RTs who thrive in clinical environments, deliver exceptional patient care, and want a contract position with competitive pay and strong recruiter support.

• Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical response
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Safely operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies

• 2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
• Active Respiratory Therapist Certification and/or License (CRT or RRT)
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols and ventilator management
• Excellent communication, critical‑thinking, and patient‑care skills

• Acute care, critical care, or emergency department experience
• Experience with EMR systems
