Purpose Statement:

Recovery in Motion is a dedicated team ofmotivated individualswho work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provideeffectivesubstance use disorder treatment services.

• 95% of clock in and out compliance

• 100% training compliance

• 95% compliance with medication administration

• 95% compliance with documentation/charting

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set priorities in monitoring clients, making house rounds, documentation of pertinent information,and completion of other assignments

• Regularly check company emails and the program calendar

• Maintain current knowledge ofprogramand client activities

• Be availableto clients for questions and otherassistance

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the programs philosophy, policies, and procedures, 245G requirements, program operations, and client rights and confidentiality

• Assistwith completion of intake/admission procedures and orientation of new clients

• Serve as a positive role model for clients

• Participate in program activities with a positive attitude

• Administer client medications and document accordingly

• Complete thorough, objective,andaccuratedocumentation

• Utilize decision making skillswhileexhibitinggood judgment and realistic understanding of issues

• Set healthy boundaries with clients and coworkers

• Completeprogram laundry

• Assistin food preparation and program cleaning duties

• Adhereto the attendance and absence policies

• Maintain punctuality in reporting for work

• Participate in rotational schedule, related to shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Provide transportation to clientsfor appointments, intake, and discharge

• Ensure client safety whileproviding transportation

• Ensure company vehicles are cleaned after usage

• Remain responsible for company credit card and receipts, when applicable

• All other duties, as assigned

Required Skills and Experience (Minimum Requirements):

• Mustbe 18 years old

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Complete background study

• Know and understand the implications of Minnesota Statutes, sections 245G.01 through245G.22, 245A.65, 260E, 626.557, and 626.5572 and willingness to understand, learn, andcarry out regulations with integrity

• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within30 daysof employment

• Must have a valid MN drivers license

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Physical ability to perform the responsibilities of the position which include, bending,stooping, sitting, walking, and lifting at least 30 pounds.

• Be highly dependable; able to work independently

Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred):

• Previousexperience in human services and/or healthcareenvironment asrelated to positionresponsibilities.

• Direct client care experience with chemical dependency treatment andrehabilitation.
