About the Role:

As a DSP, you will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and skills development. Our DSPs are empowered to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, promoting independence, inclusion, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to clients with developmental disabilities in their homes, communities, and out-of-home settings

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management

• Encourage and support clients in developing daily living skills, social skills, and independence

• Maintain accurate records of client progress, including daily logs and incident reports

• Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized service plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., Special Education, Psychology) preferred

• Previous experience in a healthcare or human services setting (n/a)

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderate physical activity

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
