Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - $2,000 Sign on Bonus
Location: Middleborough, Massachusetts

Job Summary:
Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team! As a CNA, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, working closely with our professional nursing staff to meet their personal needs and comfort. Responsibilities:
• Provide routine tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse and assist with resident care, including activities of daily living, grooming, and hygiene
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and vital signs
• Assist with meal service, feeding, and meal documentation
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, including maintaining orderly resident rooms and storing clean and soiled linen
• Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures
• Participate in informal and formal resident care meetings and assist with accident and incident investigations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our residents
Requirements:
• C.N.A. certification as evidenced by completion of Nurse’s Aide Training Program approved in accordance with the State of Massachusetts Public Health Code and a passing score on the MA Nurse’s Aide Certification Exam
• Clean ASI registry check
• Previous CNA experience desirable, but not essential
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment
• Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
• Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
Work Environment:
• Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment
• Exposed to blood/body fluids
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required - bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders are involved
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Mechanical devices are provided and are required to assist in proper lifting techniques

• Properly utilizes techniques in performing Activities of Daily Living, assisted feeding, and providing nourishments
• Takes vital signs and weights, records as facility instructed
• Understands and upholds the Resident’s Bill of Rights and holds all resident information confidential
