Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), under the supervision of a licensed nurse

• Monitor patients' conditions, report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff, and assist with implementing care plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, including maintaining a tidy and organized workspace

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members with respect and compassion

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current CNA certification in the state of Louisiana

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients of varying weights and sizes

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse patient population
