Position: Floor Tech
Facility: Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Shift: Part-Time – Morning/Evening (Flexible)
Salary: $16 per hour
Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:Follow daily assignments and schedules to clean, strip, seal, wax, and buff facility floors
Properly maintain and care for all cleaning equipment
Clean and water large indoor plants
Keep outdoor grounds free of debris; sweep entrances and patios; clean ashtrays and outdoor furniture
Help with light equipment maintenance (e.g., lubricating wheelchairs, shower chairs, carts)
Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and materials
Complete other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness and safety standards
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
Ability to work independently and follow schedules
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to lift, move, and operate floor equipment as required
